Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. The new 2014 Kia Sorento has been unveiled ahead of its debuts in Korea and Paris this autumn. It’s the third-generation of Sorento, and doesn’t deviate far from the format of the previous two crossovers. The new Kia Sorento is quite distinct from the Sportage, with a more American/Asian design vibe; it was designed in the Namyang studio in Korea.
Honda has delivered on its promise of bringing the 2010 Insight to market priced less than the rival Toyota Prius. The new Honda hybrid will start at just $20,470 in base LX form, including shipping charges, which undercuts the Prius by $2,250. Insight LX models come standard with front-side and side-curtain airbags, ABS, automatic climate control and power windows.
